Coliwoo opens River Valley property, its 14th in Singapore

Coliwoo, the co-living subsidiary under LHN Group, has opened its 14th property in Singapore – Coliwoo River Valley 298. Located at 298 River Valley Road, the four-storey co-living residence is zoned for residential with commercial at first storey, and is 400m from MRT station Fort Canning Downtown Line.The newly opened 16-room co-living residence comprises of queen-size beds, en suite bathrooms, kitchenettes, wardrobes, smart TVs, workstations, and washer-dryers. The property is surrounded by upmarket condos and houses along Oxley Road, Martin Place, and River Valley Close.Coliwoo River Valley 298 is the outcome of LHN Group’s acquisition of property last February for $8.5 million. The group refurnished and repurposed the asset rather than redeveloping it.

Coliwoo, a co-living operator under the local real estate management services group LHN Group is looking to meet the increasing demand for independent living options. In a press release, LHN announced its presence in various locations with Coliwoo properties, such as Balestier Road and Lavender Street, and the acquisition of two mixed-use buildings, 286 and 288 River Valley Road, for $23.25 million last month.

Chong Ching Yeng, Coliwoo’s chief commercial officer expressed the brand’s commitment towards providing potential tenants with flexible lease terms in multiple locations. She added that couples are opting to rent a co-living space rather than purchasing their own flats.

The 14th property of Coliwoo, Coliwoo River Valley 298, is located at 298 River Valley Road and is about 400 metres away from Fort Canning MRT Station.This four-storey residential-commercial property provides 16 rooms with amenities such as queen size beds, en suite bathrooms, kitchenettes, wardrobes, smart TVs, workstations, and washer-dryers.

The property was acquired by LHN in February last year for $8.5 million which was then refurbished and repurposed instead of redeveloping. The surrounding neighbourhood includes upmarket condos and houses along Oxley Road, Martin Place, and River Valley Close.
