Opposite the landmark Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, the shophouse is also walking distance from four MRT stations – Maxwell (Thomson-East Coast Line) and Chinatown (Downtown and North-East Lines), Outram Park (East-West, North-East and Thomson-East Coast) and Telok Ayer (Downtown Line).
Clemence Lee, executive director of capital markets in Singapore at CBRE, describes 18 Sago Street as “prized real estate” and an opportunity for investors to acquire a charming asset of a palatable investment quantum in a superior location.
The current tenants comprise a Chinese dessert shop, a beauty salon and a recreation club, and Lee suggests there is potential to enhance rental yields upon upcoming tenancy renewals.
The exercise will close on Aug 2 at 3pm. Those keen to acquire the shophouse are invited to submit their expression of interest with a guide price of $3,241 per square foot, based on the floor area.
