Daisuke Kobayashi, deputy chief operating office of Mitbana, is thrilled to announce the launch of Green Bestari Park – an integrated township and transit oriented development located in Talaga Bestari, Indonesia. The 51-ha township will span three phases, and Mr. Kobayashi envisions that the development will set a new standard for sustainable living and modern amenities.
Set in the Greater Jakarta area, the township is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Corp, Surbana Jurong, and Indonesian property developer Intiland Development. Mitbana and Inti Mitbana Development, the joint venture with Sinar Puspapersada (a subsidiary of Intiland), hold respective 70% and 30% stakes. Mitbana will be responsible for urban design and planning, while Intiland will provide land preparation, infrastructure development, and local stakeholder engagement.
The first phase of Green Bestari Park will cover 14 ha of land, featuring cluster homes, retail areas, F&B outlets, and a resident clubhouse. In the upcoming phases, Mr. Kobayashi says, the township will include more residential housing, a city park, commercial areas, and a transit station.
Mr. Permadi Indra Yoga, executive director of business development at Intiland Development, emphasizes the goal of creating an inclusive social community. He believes the future of Green Bestari Park, such as the mass rapid transit station and the proposed green boulevard, will provide residents with an eco-friendly living environment.
Mr. Kobayashi adds: “We want to redefine the next generation of sustainable urban living in Greater Jakarta.” The Mitbana and Intiland venture, he says, will create a “leading sustainable development” that rejuvenates the Talaga Bestari area.
Both Mr. Kobayashi and Mr. Indra Yoga share an ambition to bring eco-conscious living and modern amenities to the people of Greater Jakarta, and are eager to start the development of Green Bestari Park.
