Savills appointed as project manager for new ST Engineering facility

Savills Singapore, in partnership with Arup Singapore, has been appointed as consultant for the design and development of a new $170 million airframe maintenance facility by Singapore-listed engineering group ST Engineering. This new facility at Changi Creek is expected to have four hangar bays, with the first one ready by mid-2025.
Vincent Lau, senior director and head of project management at Savills Singapore, adds that this is the firm’s fifth large industrial greenfield development project clinched by the project management team in the last two years. This in turn, shows the faith and trust placed in Savills as one of the leading consultancy project management teams in the construction and real estate market.
Savills, through its project management team, will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, from due diligence to design, procurement and construction. The facility will house a hybrid paint and maintenance bay that can service widebody aircrafts.
This appointment also comes alongside other projects completed by Savills. These include the Lavender Street shophouses for sale at $12.5 million, as well as the success of the industrial leasing volume for 2Q2023 that has climbed 6.1% to 3,298 tenancies.
Furthermore, Savills has also recently appointed a new co-head for international residential sales, showing the firm’s continued efforts in delivering its services and working closely with its clients.
