Adam Wang, President of SEAA, reinforced the value of recognition for agents in building consumer trust through ethical conduct and the establishment of lasting relationships. He pointed out that SEAA’s dispute resolution channel partner, Singapore Mediation Centre, is effective in clearing commission-related issues outside the scope of the Council for Estate Agencies.
Edmund Toh, CEO of SEAA, recognised the common threads between awards, such as tenacity, adaptability, and client-centric focus. He said that these traits form the bedrock of the real estate industry, and that recipients will serve as learning points of reference for the rest of the industry.
He noted that the SEAA is a unified voice that represents the interests of real estate salespersons in Singapore. Its initiatives strive to ensure that industry standards are upheld, and its advocacy for equitable practices contribute to a positive image of real estate agencies and salespersons. As a result, consumer trust is built, and salespersons gain access to effective commissions, networking opportunities, and dispute resolutions.
