The Singapore Edition, the first of its kind in the city-state and Southeast Asia, is set to redefine the luxury lifestyle experience with its dreamy interiors and extensive amenities. Soft-launched on November 9, the development encompasses a 204-room hotel and 154 luxury residences spanning 28 storeys – Boulevard 88 – soaring above the hotel block. Its architect, Moshe Safdie of Safdie Architects and Singapore-based DP Architects is also the architect for two other local landmarks: Marina Bay Sands and Jewel Changi Airport.
The designer of the interiors, American hotelier and real estate mogul Ian Schrager, collaborated with Hong Kong-based interior design firm Cap Atelier to bring his trademark style to the Singapore Edition. The transformation of this mixed-use development is located along Orchard Boulevard and Cuscaden Road in prime District 10 with a double frontage.
Guests and residents will enjoy the white-marbled lobby with its golden leaf-covered domed ceiling, a courtyard garden, a host of event spaces, eight treatment rooms at the second level spa, a 43m swimming pool and a landscaped garden on the roof. The freehold Boulevard 88 has been over 90% sold, based on caveats lodged, at an average price of $3,814 psf. Room rates start from $680+++ a night.
Exclusively, the first floor of the hotel will feature Fysh, an Australian seafood-focused steakhouse created by celebrated chef Josh Niland. Occupying a 2,680 sq ft space, Fysh has a main dining room seating 80 guests, an indoor conservatory for 22 persons and an outdoor pergola for 44 diners. Adjacent to the restaurant is the signature bar, Punch Room.
